Yes, our Mung Bean Powder is 100% biodegradable as it contains bean powder and nothing else.
2Is Mung Bean powder edible?
Yes, apart from using on your body, you can boil it and make Mung Bean Soup. Add some salt and a little spice if you’d like!
3Can we use it as dry shampoo powder?
Although we've never used it for this purpose ourselves, we think it could work as a dry shampoo because our Mung Bean Powder can absorb the oil really well. Make sure to mix it with other ingredients that suit your hair color pigment. For example, if you have black hair, add charcoal powder. For brown hair, add cacao powder. If you’ve tried it, let us know how it goes!
4Can I use it together with other Happy Earth Products?
Absolutely Some of our clients use it after using the No-Poo Head-to-Toe Wash because the Mung Bean Powder helps absorb excess oil that may still be in the hair hair. Other clients also mix it with our No-Poo Head-to-Toe Wash and use it as an exfoliating body wash.
5What does it smell like?
Simply put, it smells of beans! In fact, when using it, sometimes it feels like you are out in the middle of a bean field.
6How to keep it?
Our Mung Bean Powder comes in a zip-lock bag. Keep it in a cool dry place to prolong shelf life.
7How much do I need each time for a face wash?
This depends on your preference. You can first try with half a tablespoon and mix with two parts of water. Adjust the ratios until you get your desired consistency.
