On the other hand, curly hair tends to be oilier at the roots and dryer at the ends.

So, here are some tricks we recommend anyone to follow, especially when they first start off and have to deal with thetransition period.

1. Go slow: Instead of quitting your shampoo cold turkey, start slow. You can try mixing your new routine with your old shampoo first or switching your old and new routine every wash day. Gradually replacing it little by little. Try spanning it out over a month or two or however long you feel like to give your hair and body ample time to get used to the new routine.
